Baptism

Anglican Baptism

Baptism is a significant sacrament in the Anglican tradition, symbolizing entry into the Christian faith and the Church community. We believe that through baptism, individuals are cleansed of their sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

At our church, we offer baptism for people of all ages, from infants to adults. Infant baptism is a beautiful way for parents to dedicate their child to God and seek His blessings. For adults, baptism is a personal decision to publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ and commit to a life of discipleship.

Our baptism services are conducted with reverence and joy, surrounded by the love and support of the church congregation. During the ceremony, water is used as a symbol of purification and new life, echoing the biblical accounts of Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan River.

We believe that baptism is just the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. As baptized members of the Anglican Church, we welcome individuals into a community that nurtures spiritual growth and provides opportunities for worship, fellowship, and service.

If you or your child are interested in being baptized or learning more about baptism in the Anglican Church, we invite you to contact us or attend one of our services. Our clergy and dedicated members are here to guide you through this important step in your spiritual journey.

The word of God about Baptism

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
